Morocco and Burkina Faso Sign Visa-Free Travel Agreement for Citizens

Morocco and Burkina Faso concluded, this Friday, October 23, an agreement on the abolition of visas in favor of their nationals holding ordinary passports. It comes after the opening of the Burkina Faso Consulate General in Dakhla.
In his speech, the Minister of Foreign Affairs stated that nearly 10% of the Kingdom’s foreign investments in Africa are concentrated in Burkina Faso. These are Moroccan banks and companies operating in the telecommunications, insurance and construction sectors.
According to him, the Kingdom has trained several experts and students from the country of the upright men. More than 150 training scholarships in the institutes of the Kingdom are granted each year.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs also promised to grant an additional thirty scholarships to Burkina Faso in the training institutes in Dakhla in tourism, crafts, health, management, and commerce.
