Morocco Allows Limited Repatriation Flights from Turkey Amid Travel Restrictions

Despite the suspension of flights from several countries, including Turkey, to Morocco, the kingdom will authorize as of next week three exceptional repatriation flights. These air links are intended for Turkish nationals, but also for citizens of third countries, as well as Moroccans residing or holding an authorization.
In a press release, the Turkish embassy in Morocco announced that these flights will be scheduled by Turkish Airlines on March 2, 4 and 6 from Casablanca airport. To benefit from this opportunity, passengers concerned by these special Turkish Airlines flights will have to present (for those over six years old) a negative PCR test, carried out less than 72 hours before boarding.
On Monday, February 22, Morocco had suspended until March 21, flights to (and from) several countries, including Turkey, Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland, due to the new variants of Covid-19 that have already claimed many victims.
