Morocco Allegedly Blocks Distribution of French Magazine Le Point

The latest issue of the French magazine Le Point would have been censored in Morocco. This is at least the observation made following the non-distribution of the April 22, 2021 issue on Moroccan territory.
Those newspaper vendors who had already received it have been called upon not to display or sell it, explain to Maghreb Intelligence several kiosk owners in Casablanca who have received verbal instructions. The Moroccan authorities have not, for the time being, informed of any possible censorship or provided explanations on the non-distribution of Le Point.
Is the French magazine censored or not? The question remains unanswered. However, there is no indication that the Moroccan authorities could censor Le Point. Insofar as no article in the April 22, 2021 issue tarnishes Morocco. The only article published in this issue on the kingdom talks about Suez, which has fallen into the hands of Veolia. The author of the article recalls that Miriem Bensalah-Chaqroun, one of Suez’s administrators and former president of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), accompanied King Mohammed VI on his trips to Africa.
