Morocco Airport Workers Protest 50% Pay Cut Amid Failed Negotiations

Ground staff at Moroccan airports demonstrated their discontent on Wednesday, May 20, against wage cuts that they say have heavily impacted their daily lives.
According to the statements collected by Alyaoum24, the employees resorted to this means after failing in their many attempts to open a dialogue with the officials.
The union office of the employees would have filed several requests with the officials of the National Airports Office for an amicable settlement of the disputes, which have never been taken into consideration, according to the union office.
The protesters say they have been severely affected by the 50% reduction in their salaries, knowing that a large part of them have to face the deadlines of real estate and consumer loans.
