Morocco's Agadir Secures New Air Routes from Major German Cities

The Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) has just struck a big blow by signing three agreements in Germany to boost tourism in Agadir. According to an ONMT press release, Adel El Fakir signed these agreements with German partners for the creation of new air links to the capital of Souss.

The first agreement was signed with Condor, one of the largest German carriers. This partnership will take effect from October 10, 2023 and will end on April 30, 2024. It provides for the creation of 4 new air routes from the cities of Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich and Hamburg to Agadir. These flights will take place twice a week, which should attract a large number of tourists.

The second agreement was signed with the tour operator Alltours. The latter has committed to providing around 10,000 clients for the summer of 2023 and the winter of 2023-2024. This agreement should therefore contribute greatly to the promotion of the city of Agadir among German tourists.

The third agreement was signed with Distribution & Digital Eurowings and the Head Touristic Offer Management of Eurowings. This airline is one of the largest carriers in Europe with more than 100 destinations and serving more than 50 countries. This agreement provides for covering the summer of 2023 and the winter of 2023-2024 with 4 new air links from Düsseldorf to Agadir and Marrakech at a rate of one flight per week. This new air link should therefore allow a large number of German tourists to discover Agadir.

Thanks to these new air links, the city will be able to attract a large number of German tourists and strengthen its position as an essential tourist destination in Morocco.
