Morocco Adopts New Law on Travel Refunds Amid Pandemic, Impacting Royal Air Maroc Customers

The Moroccan Parliament has adopted law 30-20 relating to travel contracts, tourist stays and air passenger transport contracts. This text is of great importance for travel agencies and tourism and air passenger transport companies.
Thanks to this text, service providers, including tour operators, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) will be able to reimburse the amounts owed to customers with a loan receipt in the form of a proposal for an identical or similar service provision, without an increase in prices, reports L’Économiste.
The contracts scheduled during the period from March 1 to September 30, 2020 and "which have been canceled due to the spread of the coronavirus" are among those concerned.
