Morocco Adjusts Public Sector Hours for Ramadan, Offices Open 9 AM to 3 PM

To allow civil servants to have a good month of Ramadan, the government has rearranged the working hours. The Ministry of Economy, Finance, and Public Administration Reform, in a press release, announced the new working hours.
In a press release, the ministry specifies that state establishments will be open to the public, continuously, from Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This change follows the decision of the Minister in charge of Public Reform, No. 1899-05 dated September 30, 2005, relating to working hours in public administrations and local authorities during the month of Ramadan.
According to the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, the first day of Ramadan in Morocco is scheduled for Saturday, April 25.
