Morocco to Acquire Russian Anti-Drone Systems for Border Security

Electronic systems will be acquired by Morocco to protect its vital installations and borders from any potential terrorist threat by drones, according to the proposal of Rosoboronexport, the Russian public agency in charge of arms exports.
The Russian agency, Rosoboronexport, has sent a technical delegation to Morocco, as part of this partnership in order to explain the capacity of these protection systems against drones that they can detect at a distance of 30 km.
According to Hespress, the Russian agency indicated that in addition to Morocco, it also intends to offer the purchase of these electronic systems to other countries in North Africa and the Middle East.
The CEO of Rosoboronexport, Alexander Mikheev, on the sidelines of the Dubai Airshow, stressed that "terrorist groups and criminal organizations in Syria are now using drone technology for their bloody projects due to their efficiency and low cost."
As a solution, the Russian agency whose services cover more than 70 countries offers these electronic systems that provide effective protection, regardless of weather conditions.
