Morocco to Acquire 24 Boeing AH-64 Apache Attack Helicopters by 2024

A contract for the purchase of 24 AH-64 Apache helicopters has been concluded between the American manufacturer Boeing and Morocco. The terms of this agreement are known.
The 24 AH-64 Apache helicopters will be delivered to Morocco starting in 2024, the American manufacturer announces. Boeing, for its part, said it was proud to provide this cutting-edge capability to Morocco, said Jeff Shockey, Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing for Boeing Defence, Space & Security and Government Services. Like Morocco, Boeing has delivered nearly 2,500 Apache helicopters to 16 countries to date. To this end, the new Moroccan Apaches will be built and delivered under a contract with the US Army through the US government’s foreign military sales process. The AH-64E Apache is the latest configuration of the attack helicopter, according to a well-informed source.
This model that will be delivered to the Kingdom is designed and equipped with the latest communication, navigation, sensor and weapon systems. In addition, the company is committed to developing Morocco’s supply chain and future workforce.
It should be recalled that in 2016, the company signed a memorandum of understanding with Morocco to create an ecosystem of aeronautical equipment suppliers.
