Moroccan Workers Appeal to King After Unjust Dismissal from 30-Year Jobs

After nearly 30 years of loyal service within a company, a dozen women were laid off. One of them gives a poignant testimony.
In a statement to the site Al Ayam24, the victim, who worked in a company in Casablanca, said she was "in a state of shock and bewilderment" following an abusive dismissal, which occurred upon their return from a leave forced by the health crisis.
With more than 30 years of seniority, the employees denounce the decision of their employer, whom they accuse of fraud. They launch a distress call to King Mohammed VI, in the hope of obtaining compensation for the damages caused.
Having been entitled to a severance indemnity of 4,000 dirhams for 30 years of service, the victims, who aspire to a fair trial, appeal to the Sovereign and the various support associations to obtain justice.
