Moroccan Woman Sentenced to 5 Years in French Terrorism Trial, Husband Gets 18

The special assize court in Paris sentenced the Moroccan Latifa Chadli, 40, wife of a Toulouse jihadist, for criminal terrorist conspiracy (AMT).
A lenient sentence for Latifa Chadli. While she faced 30 years of criminal imprisonment, the Moroccan woman, tried for criminal terrorist conspiracy (AMT), was sentenced to five years in prison, three of which were suspended with probation, reports BFMTV. A relief for her two sisters present at the hearing. Tried for the same charge of accusation, her husband, the Toulouse jihadist Jonathan Geffroy, 40, who risked the same sentence, was sentenced to 18 years of criminal imprisonment.
The special assize court in Paris sentenced the mother of Jonathan Denise P., tried for financing a terrorist enterprise, to three years in prison with probation, while she faced a sentence of 10 years. She was accused of having sent 18,000 euros to her son when he was in the Iraqi-Syrian zone.
