A Moroccan national abroad, prosecuted for having married 3 men, was sentenced to 6 months in prison by the court of first instance in Fès.
Originally from the city of Sidi Kacem, the defendant was accused of fraud, scam and obtaining an administrative certificate through the presentation of false data.
Her scams came to light when her third husband, a Moroccan residing abroad, filed a complaint for multiple marriages. The investigation, opened by the security services, revealed the subterfuge.
Mother of a daughter, the result of a first marriage contracted 3 years earlier, the young woman, residing in Spain, had separated from her first husband without having divorced.
