Moroccan Woman Dies After Taking Unregulated Weight Loss Pills from Instagram Seller
A 28-year-old Moroccan woman died after taking slimming pills purchased from an unknown person who was promoting these products on Instagram.
The victim passed away two weeks after taking these pills of dubious origin and composition. Doctors were unable to save the young Moroccan woman who presented complications and had blue spots in various parts of her body, reports La Razón.
More and more internet users are promoting medicines and recipes of dubious quality. These are mostly weight loss products offered to women who buy and use them, unaware of the side effects and harmful consequences these products can have on their health.
Instagram users have called on the competent authorities to fight against this phenomenon and to protect the health of citizens. They urge women using these products to be vigilant, advising them to consult specialist doctors if they wish to lose or gain weight.
