Moroccan Vacationer Killed in Polisario Attack on Es-Semara, Western Sahara

A young man on vacation in Morocco died in the military operation that the Polisario, protected by Algeria, claims to have carried out on Sunday in the city of Es-Semara. His name is Hamza Jeaifri.
Tragic vacation for Hamza Jeaifri. This young man born in 1994 in Sidi Yahya El Gharb, in the province of Sidi Slimane, will not return to France where he lived in a shared apartment with his older brother in Tarbes, in the southwest of the country. While he visited one of the aunts living in Smara as part of a three-week vacation in Morocco, he meets his death on the terrace. He was there for a phone call - as usual - when four explosions rang out in the night from Saturday to Sunday in the city. This "good boy, laughing, helpful and big football fan" as his father, Mohamed Jeaifri, former player of the Hassania de Sidi Slimane, takes with him his ambition to open his own restaurant in Morocco, where he plans to resettle.
According to the local authorities of the province of Es-Semara, the ZAP, Hay Essalam, and the industrial district (two explosions) neighborhoods were hit on Sunday by four explosions. The toll is one dead and three injured, two of whom are in serious condition. In a statement released late on the night of October 29, the Polisario said the separatists "targeted enemy forces in the Mahbès, Es-Semara and Farsia sectors on Sunday." And to specify that these were "concentrated and violent bombardments", which caused "heavy losses" in the aforementioned sectors.
In a statement, the Attorney General of the King near the Court of Appeal of Laâyoune announced that the competent judicial police have been tasked with conducting a judicial investigation. Necessary technical and ballistic expertise should be carried out.
