Moroccan Town Council Mocked for Auctioning Donkey, Sparking Social Media Frenzy

The Municipal Council of Boulemane faced ridicule after putting a donkey up for auction on Tuesday, December 3, 2019.
Internet users were stunned to discover this particular transaction on social media. Mocking, they compare the donkey to a Ferrari.
A copy of the public announcement signed by the president of this Council, the details of the auction and the amount of the sale to be paid to the municipality accompany the publication, specifies article19.ma.
As soon as it was announced on social media, this auction was the subject of criticism from Internet users.
According to one Internet user, the law concerning the auction of a Ferrari is the same as that which applies to the auction of a donkey... "No shame in that in the context of rehabilitation," he ironized. Another finds nothing strange in this auction as for anything else. An animal lover simply urged the authorities concerned to "release the poor animal into nature".
Latest news, the donkey was "seized by the Water and Forests services".
