Moroccan Tourist Arrested in Turkey for Alleged Insults Against Erdogan and State

Suspected of having insulted Turkey as a "terrorist state" and its president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, a Moroccan tourist was arrested in Turkey,
According to the news agency SonDakika, the tourist would have uttered her insults in the Jamekiber district in the west of the country, where she was reported to the police by the shop owners.
The same source added that the Moroccan woman was arrested and an investigation is underway. A video documenting the incident was posted on YouTube yesterday, Monday.
This arrest follows several others in the past. "There are thousands of people detained in Turkey for insulting Erdogan and the State, and dozens of foreigners have been arrested on the same charge," the same source recalls.
