Moroccan Theater Icon Rachida El Harrak in Critical Condition at Rabat Clinic

Close relatives of artist Rachida El Harrak announced on Wednesday morning that her health condition has deteriorated and that she has been in "critical" condition for a week in a clinic in Rabat.
Rachida El Harrak, one of the iconic figures of the theater scene, is in critical condition, according to the alert given on Wednesday by Fatima Boujou. She even specified that the actress had been admitted to intensive care.
Born in 1948 in Rabat, Rachida El Harrak has been a mainstay of the Moroccan theater alongside Mohamed Hassan El Joundi, Abderrazak Hakam, Larbi Doghmi, Hammadi Ammor, Habiba El Medkouri and Amina Rachid.
In addition to theater, she has made appearances and breakthroughs in certain films such as "Des loups qui ne meurent pas", a TV movie in which she played the lead role, and then "Le Droit à quatre épouses" with Khadijah Assad and Saâdallah Aziz and Touria Jebrane. With her husband, the writer Mohamed El Basri, the actress Rachida El Harrak co-founded the troupe "Al Masrah Addahik".
