Moroccan Textile Company Produces Free Masks for Essential Workers Amid Pandemic

The textile company "Yara Confeccion", based in Tangier, has manufactured protective masks that it is distributing free of charge to people who, despite the declared health emergency, still have to go to their workplaces.
The locally manufactured masks, strictly respecting the necessary sterilization measures, are distributed on the streets and main avenues of the city of Tangier, to national security agents and professionals working in the transport and retail sectors. The company’s managers took advantage of the drop in production activities at the factory to embark on this highly appreciated act of solidarity.
It thus participates in the campaign to fight the new coronavirus and responds to the solidarity expected from all citizens to overcome this ordeal. A factory manager expressed "the wish to see this initiative serve as an example to other textile companies in Tangier. According to him, all citizens, regardless of their profession or means, are required to accompany the initiative and contribute to the efforts to combat the spread of the coronavirus.
