Moroccan Teen Seeks Help After Viral Video Exposes Alleged Abuse by Saudi Husband

A few days ago, a video posted by a Moroccan woman to catch her Saudi husband in the act of mistreating her was widely shared on social media and also very widely reported. She has just released a new video.

Apparently the Moroccans and the press would have helped this young Moroccan minor in her case by commenting and sharing the video she took of the brutalities she is used to suffering from her Saudi husband in Saudi Arabia. Safaa declares: "First of all, I would like to thank all the Moroccans as well as the Moroccan media who supported me and publicized my case".

According to Safaa, 17 years old, her husband made her live in hell, for a long time already, and even the fact of carrying her child never softened him. Indeed, she explains: "He always hit me. I was pregnant and I had a miscarriage because of the violence I suffered".

But it is not yet time to rejoice, according to her. She has indeed left the marital home but she has launched an appeal, through statements to press bodies, asking the authorities to intervene quickly in order to watch over her daughter.
