Moroccan Sues Highway Company After Stray Dog Crash Trauma

A Moroccan, victim of a traffic accident caused by a stray dog in March 2024, has taken the National Motorway Company (ADM) to court to seek compensation for the damages suffered by him and his minor children he was transporting.
The Moroccan has taken ADM to the administrative court of Tangier, after being the victim of a serious traffic accident on March 10, 2024 on the motorway connecting the port of Tanger Med to the Rabat-Tanger axis, specifically on the Moulay Bousselham axis.
According to witnesses, the accident was caused by a stray dog that suddenly jumped onto the road, colliding directly with the victim’s Renault vehicle, in which his two minor children were traveling.
No loss of human life was recorded, as indicated in the official report drawn up by the Royal Gendarmerie. However, the vehicle was seriously damaged. The accident also caused trauma to the driver’s two minor children, requiring psychological follow-up.
In his complaint filed with the administrative court of Tangier, the Moroccan accuses the National Motorway Company of "negligence in securing the road against stray animals", holding it responsible for the accident and claiming compensation for the damages suffered.
