Moroccan Students Face COVID-19 Risks in Overcrowded Ukrainian Dorms

Nearly 11,000 Moroccan students are suffering the effects of confinement in the cramped and unsanitary dormitories. The situation is very alarming, especially since overcrowding promotes the transmission of the coronavirus.
In the absence of hygiene measures, the hundreds of students, mostly concentrated in the city of Kharkov, are forced to adapt to these conditions at the risk of contracting the coronavirus.
Grouped 3 in cramped rooms, with common sanitary facilities, the residents are experiencing confinement with fear in their stomachs, knowing that screening tests are lacking in the city.
According to the Ukrpress website, the country has exceeded the 1,000 patient mark, with 1,225 confirmed coronavirus cases, including 32 deaths recorded as of April 4.
