Moroccan Student, Repatriated from Wuhan, Tests Positive for Coronavirus at Home

A Moroccan student, repatriated from Wuhan following the spread of the coronavirus in the Hubei province, had the misfortune of contracting the virus in Morocco, after being infected by a close contact during the lockdown.
The young girl, who had tested negative during her quarantine with the other students, was hospitalized in a center in Casablanca, where she is being cared for by the medical team.
167 students, including 50 young women, repatriated from the epicenter of the coronavirus in China on February 22, on the orders of King Mohammed VI, had been admitted to two hospital facilities in Rabat and Meknes.
Since this Wednesday, Morocco has started to accelerate coronavirus testing within the population, thanks to the acquisition of a large stock of highly efficient reagents from South Korea.
