Moroccan Striker Oussama Idrissi Named Eredivisie Player of the Month for December

Oussama Idrissi outshines Hakim Zyech by being named best player of the month of December in the Eredivisie. The AZ Alkmaar striker was the most outstanding player during this period, according to the statistics.
This ranking is a reward for all the efforts made by Oussama Idrissi, designated as the strongman of the Dutch championship, in December 2019. This recognition was awarded to him thanks to his ability to create danger and the accuracy of his right foot.
Thus, he is the player who has created the most opportunities in front of the opposing goal (7 clear chances). He is also the one who has shot the most at goal (11 shots) and has again shown that he is one of the best dribblers in the championship with 11 successful dribbles, reports Hespress.
With 16 league games still to play, the Atlas Lion has already beaten his personal record, set last season at 8 goals and 6 assists in 32 games.
This is a first trophy for the player and his club, AZ Alkmaar. He thus outstrips goalkeeper Timon Wellenreuther (Willem II) and his compatriot Hakim Ziyech (Ajax), who came in 3rd, according to the same source.
