Moroccan Striker Munir El Haddadi Sidelined for 49 Days at FC Seville

Munir El Haddadi has not been included in an official match for FC Seville since March 20, a total of 49 days that the Moroccan international has not set foot on the pitch. This, despite the need for talented players like him to strengthen the Seville attack.
Coach Julen Lopetegui has not called on Munir El Haddadi since the match against Real Sociedad. After this match, FC Seville has already played five matches in which the Moroccan striker did not play a single minute. A finding that reveals Lopetegui’s lack of confidence in him, reports El Desmarque, noting that in the recent match against Cadiz FC, the coach preferred to line up local players like Luismi or Iván Romero to fill the void left by Martial and Rafa Mir, who were injured.

FC Seville is sorely lacking in the efficiency of its strikers this season. Munir El Haddadi has scored only two goals since the beginning of this year 2022. As for his compatriot Youssef En-Nesyri, he scored his first goal of the year in the match against Cadiz. Anthony Martial, for his part, has only scored one goal since his arrival in the winter transfer window. Rafa Mir is doing better with five goals in 19 matches.
