Moroccan Striker Ayoub El Kaabi Joins Qatar Club After Turkey Earthquake Disrupts Season

Moroccan international Ayoub El kaabi is relaunching in Qatar. The February 6 earthquake in Turkey has caused huge losses within his club, which has been forced to suspend its activities.
After the death of Ghanaian international Christian Atsu and Taner Savut, respectively player and sports director of Hatayspor, the future seems uncertain within the club, which has announced the suspension of its activities, giving the players who wish to do so the opportunity to find a new club. Among the departures recorded following this decision, there is the Moroccan striker Ayoub El Kaabi.
With 8 goals in 21 matches this season in the Süper Lig, the Moroccan player has signed with the Qatari club Al Saad. The club announced it on its website. He will remain there until the end of the season. Revealed at the CHAN 2018, Ayoub El Kaabi is among the big absentees at the 2022 Qatar World Cup despite the 5 goals he scored during the qualifiers.
Trained at the Racing Athletic Club of Casablanca, he was recruited by the Renaissance sportive de Berkane which he will leave in 2018 to go to China. Between 2019 and 2021, he played for Hebei FC in China and Wydad Casablanca, before joining Europe, more precisely the Turkish club Hatayspor. But the earthquake that hit Turkey is ending his contract and it is free from any commitment that he has joined the Al Saad club.
