Moroccan Street Singer Youssef Aims for Stardom on ’The Voice 2021’

At 26 years old, Youssef, a Moroccan participant in "The Voice 2021", does not hide his joy. In an interview with Télé Star, the young man talks about his journey and his goals.
"Of Moroccan origin, I grew up in Morocco, Italy and Belgium," introduces the young man, indicating that for the past two years he has been a street singer. But due to the health crisis, he had to suspend it. Attributing himself qualities of simplicity, honesty, kindness and humility, Youssef became aware of his talent thanks to his entourage. He who did not believe in it, first registered for "The Voice" in Belgium and passed the blind auditions. But no seat had turned around, except words urging him to work. A month later, Youssouf was back on the street.
At the start of his music career, he had to reassure his family, especially his mother, who was afraid for him. Thus, the young man’s goal in choosing "The Voice France" is to prove that one can be a musician, a singer and a good person.
Despite his fears, Youssef wanted to try his luck. He went there with Fix you, a title that says we can fix ourselves. When the four coaches turned around, "it was incredible, impressive," said the interviewee.
Being on the same team as his best friend Mentissa, he said she is like his other half and there is no competition between them. Speaking about the future, Youssef indicated that winning "The Voice" is already like helping others and conveying a message of peace. He has even already composed his first song in French for his mother. "My mother doesn’t know it and it will be a total surprise. I talk about my mom to talk about all the women in the world," he stressed.
