Moroccan Socialist Party Protests Vaccine Pass Requirement for Parliament Access

The Political Bureau of the Unified Socialist Party (PSU) has called on its members to protest in front of the parliament, to demand the withdrawal of the mandatory vaccine pass, required of deputies before attending the spring session.
The political party has estimated that the maintenance of this measure within the hemicycle aims to prevent the party’s secretary general, Nabila Mounib, from exercising her constitutional functions and representing the Nation, noting that it is a "flagrant violation of the constitution". The elected representative has been repeatedly denied access to the legislative institution, despite a negative PCR test.
The PSU has thus called for supporting freedom of opinion by demonstrating against the violation of the provisions of the constitution, and denouncing the abuse of power and in solidarity with the parliamentarian Nabila Mounib against the prohibition and restrictions.
For the deputy, this is a targeted measure, as she would be the only one to be checked to access the parliament. And she added that the Parliament is the only institution that still maintains this measure, while the vaccine pass is required nowhere else in Morocco.
