Moroccan Singer’s Wife Battles Cancer, Sparks Outpouring of Support on Social Media

Many celebrities have just expressed their support for the wife of Moroccan singer Hatim Ammor, who is suffering from cancer. Through prayers, comments and signs of support, Moroccans have expressed their compassion for the couple, especially the young woman and mother of two children.
Hundreds of thousands of Moroccans have "liked" and commented on the photo shared by Hind Tazi and which has gone viral on social media.
In this image, with a shaved head, she appears forehead to forehead, in the arms of her husband, in a touching photo accompanied by the caption, "Cancer! And so what? Praise be to God. I keep my morale, I keep my energy and my smile... Life is beautiful! Thank you to my dear husband, my family and my friends for being by my side. I love you all."
Married since 2010, the usually rather discreet couple have shown themselves more united than ever to face the disease. This photo, widely shared on the web, has already received more than 158,000 "Likes" and 5,600 comments. The same image posted again on her husband’s Instagram account has received over 338,000 "Likes" and 17,000 comments.
Like RedOne and his wife, footballer Aziz Bouhaddouz and presenter Bouchra Dou, thousands of Internet users have reacted to wish a speedy recovery to the young woman.
Other Moroccan music stars like the artist Dunia Batma, the pop singer Saad Lamjarred, have prayed for Hind’s recovery on her Instagram profile. "My sister Hind, I know how strong you are. You will recover by the will of God," wished Saad Lamjarred.
Cancer is the second leading cause of death in the world, according to the World Health Organization (WHO). The most common types of cancer in Morocco are breast cancer (20.73%), lung cancer (13.27%) and prostate cancer (8.16%).
