Moroccan Singer Samira Saïd Donates Concert Proceeds to Tangier Orphanage

On the sidelines of a concert to be held on April 27 in Tangier, Moroccan diva Samira Saïd has decided to donate 80,000 dirhams of her earnings to a children’s home in the capital of the Strait.
"A diva with a big heart," that’s how the website of the second channel, 2M.ma, described her in February and for quite different reasons. And indeed, according to Alyaoum24: "Moroccan artist Samira Saïd has decided to make a donation of 8 million cents to a children’s home in Tangier, on the sidelines of a concert given on April 27 at the Anwar Palace."
The same media specifies that the tickets for this planned concert are on sale for 1250 dirhams, 900 dirhams or 600 dirhams, depending on the ticket category. Another singer is also scheduled to perform at the same concert: Moroccan singer Hoda Saad.
It should be noted that last year, Samira Saïd visited children from an orphanage in Tangier (perhaps the same one) in a gesture that was very welcomed by Internet users, on the sidelines of the CaftaNorte which she was to attend, the reason for her presence in Tangier. She then had lunch with all the resident children.
