Moroccan Singer Khansa Batma Weds Sociologist in Tetouan Ceremony

Moroccan artist Khansa Batma got married in Tetouan last weekend with Marouan Ben Fares, a "budding sociologist". Her brother, Tarek Batma, immortalized this moment and shared it on his Facebook account.
Artist Khansa Batma has become Mrs. Fares. The young artist is the daughter of the late Mohammed Batma, of the legendary Lemchaheb, but also the niece of Larbi, one of the founders of the other legendary seventies group, Nass El Ghiwane. She married Marouan Ben Fares, holder of a master’s degree in sociology from the Abdelmalek Saadi University of Tetouan.
Her husband is a signatory of the "All Outlaws" petition, from the collective of 490 for individual freedoms, in the Hajar Raissouni case.
For the occasion, an intimate party will soon be organized to celebrate the signing of the marriage certificate, which took place last weekend in Tetouan, the groom’s hometown.
