Moroccan Singer Hatim Ammor to Undergo Sinus Surgery, Fans Express Concern
Moroccan artist Hatim Ammor has informed his Instagram followers that he is preparing to undergo a surgical procedure.
Ammor announced this news in his response to a follower’s comment inviting him to treat his sinuses to avoid choking his voice when singing. "I’m going to have the operation soon, I hope you’ll pray for me," the Moroccan artist wrote. After this announcement, several followers warned Hatim Ammor about the effects of this surgical operation on his voice, urging him to be cautious and to have the operation done in a renowned international specialized center.
The author of the song "Ana El Awal" has performed on the stages of several festivals and has given private concerts in Morocco and abroad this summer. Last June, he released the single "Mahboubi", featuring his compatriot Saad Lamjarred. The clip of the song, shot in Rabat, has already reached more than 13 million views on YouTube.
The two artists had planned to do a featuring since 2006, but many circumstances had delayed this project, Ammor said, expressing his joy that this project has become a reality. The artist also stated that the clip was made with a lot of love, for the happiness of their fans. As an artist, Ammor considers himself an ambassador of Morocco in the world and says he is willing and determined to work to promote the image of the kingdom abroad.
