Last weekend, Mohamed Lansi won two races in two cities in the province of Jaén, within two hours. The Moroccan-born athlete won the 26th Jaén Half Marathon with a time of 1:10:41, stepped onto the podium to receive his prize, changed clothes and then jumped into a car to participate in another race in Torredonjimeno, located 25 minutes by road from Jaén, enthuses Diario del Triatlon.
The Moroccan athlete arrived in time to take part in this 10 km cross-country race which he won ahead of several exceptional athletes like Ignacio Fontes, despite the fatigue of the half marathon won two hours earlier. After all these efforts in one morning where he covered 31 kilometers and won two races, Mohamed Lansi only received an envelope of 500 euros and 57 liters of olive oil worth around 300 euros.
