Moroccan Royal Navy Rescues French Sailors from Storm-Battered Sailboat

In difficulty due to bad weather, a sailboat was rescued on Thursday off Larache by the Moroccan Royal Navy. On board, two Frenchmen were brought back safe and sound.
This intervention follows information received by the Rabat Maritime Rescue and Coordination Center (MRCC), a military source told MAP, stating that a sailboat was in danger in this part of Moroccan waters, due to difficult weather conditions.
In response to the alert, the Royal Navy dispatched a unit to the scene, which proceeded to rescue the two crew members, the same source specifies.
They received first aid and were brought back safe and sound to the port of Tangier-ville, it is added, noting that the operation to tow the sailboat is underway.
