Moroccan Royal Holding Pledges $200 Million to COVID-19 Relief Fund

The Royal Holding Al Mada will donate 2 billion to the fund to fight the coronavirus, which was created on the instructions of King Mohammed VI.
On the proposal of its main shareholder, the Al Mada Board of Directors has decided to grant a financial contribution to the special fund for the management of the Coronavirus - Covid 19 pandemic, in the form of a donation of 2 billion dirhams, according to a statement from the Holding.
"This donation is part of the decree dated Monday, March 16, 2020 which established the creation of the special allocation account to deal with exceptional health expenditures and support sectors affected by the unprecedented crisis related to the Coronavirus," concludes the same source.
