Moroccan Religious Leaders Refuse to Return After Ramadan Mission in Europe

Members of the religious delegation sent to France during Ramadan to supervise and assist Moroccans residing abroad (MREs) have refused to return to Morocco at the end of their mission.
The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs had dispatched a religious delegation composed of 24 preachers and 19 Mourchidates, in addition to 321 intercessors, to supervise the members of the Moroccan community abroad during the month of Ramadan in Europe, more precisely in France, Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark... but also in Canada. But "preachers and imams sent by the Scientific Council of the province of Driouch a few days before the sacred month as part of preaching and guidance missions for the Moroccan community in France, as well as the imamate during the Tarawih prayers, have decided to stay there permanently".
These preachers would have decided to "burn the visa" and not to return to Morocco with the committee responsible for taking them to France.
