Moroccan Religious Channel Assadissa Expands to 24/7 Broadcasting for Ramadan

In order to satisfy the thousands of viewers of the Assadissa channel as of this Ramadan month, the National Broadcast and Television Company (SNRT) has decided to increase its broadcasting time.
From 14 hours, Assadissa goes to continuous 24-hour broadcasting for the delight of its viewers in Morocco and abroad. This increase in airtime also concerns the Mohammed VI radio station of the Holy Quran. The National Broadcast and Television Company (SNRT) has made this decision in order to "deepen the viewers’ knowledge of religious sciences, Sharia and spiritual aesthetic culture, in accordance with our sacred religious and national constants," explains the SNRT in a press release.
When it was launched on November 2, 2005 by King Mohammed VI, the Assadissa channel was only broadcasting for 5 hours a day, recalls the SNRT, noting that the broadcasting hours increased to 6 hours in 2006, then to 10 hours in 2018 and to 12 hours in 2010, to reach 14 hours of daily broadcasting since 2014.
Since its creation, this channel has set itself the objectives of "overseeing the reconciliation between the general principles of Islam, promoting knowledge through religious duties, preserving spiritual security and highlighting the specificity of Moroccan religiosity based on four foundations, including the institution of Imarat Al-Mouminine, the Maliki rite, the Ash’arite dogma and Sunni Sufism."
The Assadissa Channel has the mission to "contribute to the sanctification of practical behavior, spiritual taste and to make known the civilizational heritage and architectural legacy of mosques, zawiyas and madrasas," indicates the SNRT.
