Moroccan Rapper Zamdane Survives Near-Fatal Car Crash, Shares Hospital Photo
Marseille-based Moroccan rapper Zamdane, whose real name is Ayoub Zaidane, announced on Tuesday on his Instagram account that he had been the victim of a serious road accident.
"I saw my life flash before my eyes... I had a close call," rapper Zamdane said in an Instagram post, stating that he had been the victim of a serious car accident on Saturday, May 20 in the afternoon. The 25-year-old artist accompanied the post with a photo of himself hooked up to an IV drip in the hospital, his arm bandaged and stained with blood, as well as a photo of the wrecked car.
"This is a reminder because life is too precious," Zamdane wrote to his some 121,000 followers on the social network, announcing that he was taking a break to recover. "This year I’ve kept a pretty tough pace, I’ve released a lot of music but for the first time, I have to take care of myself and focus on my recovery to come back more stable and stronger," he stressed.
