Moroccan Public Hospital Faces Utility Shutdown Over Unpaid Bills

It is unclear whether one should laugh or cry about this. The regional hospital of Khénifra has not paid its water and electricity bills. And it (a public body) is threatening to cut them off if it does not pay.
What can one expect from a hospital that does not have the means to pay for water and electricity and is threatened with the suspension of these services? And from the country where it is located... This is the question that arises from this strange affair.
The ONEE (National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water, a Moroccan public institution) has just issued a warning to the regional hospital of Khénifra for it to pay its outstanding water and electricity bills amounting to 1.4 million dirhams.
The hospital could even have its water and electricity cut off if it does not comply. We are talking about several unpaid months.
Furthermore, this warning from ONEE is not the first but the second in less than 3 months.
