Moroccan Policewoman Arrested for Forging Dozens of Sick Notes to Skip Work

A policewoman under the jurisdiction of the Rabat police prefecture was placed in pre-trial detention, following the falsification of more than thirty medical certificates. She used them to justify her numerous absences.
The prefectural judicial police service of Rabat, which seized the false medical certificates, in consultation with the scientific and technical laboratory, revealed the lack of concordance of the data and the use of the certificates despite their falsification.
A wanted notice was issued against the fifth-year medical intern, who has been missing since the Eid al-Fitr period, who is the source of the medical certificates. The defendant would, if necessary, simply scan these certificates before presenting them to her management.
The policewoman was stripped of her uniform and service weapon, and her salary was frozen, following the decision of the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), pending the order of the public prosecutor’s office.
