Wednesday 19 December 2018, by Said

"The main suspect, suspected of having scammed candidates for access to police training cycles in exchange for sums of money, was arrested in possession of copies of false administrative documents containing erroneous data relating to the lists of candidates who took the said examination," the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) said in a statement.

The investigation also led to the arrest of two police officers, including a senior officer stationed in Rabat and a brigadier posted to the provincial security district of Salé, "suspected of having facilitated the execution of these criminal acts," it is further written.

The police brigadier was taken into custody pending his referral to the public prosecutor’s office, the same source concluded.
