Moroccan Police Deny Brutality Claims, Threaten Legal Action Against Accusers

The Directorate General of National Security (DGSN) is determined to shed light on an alleged case of police brutality. Convinced of the untruths spread by the brother-in-law of a victim, on an electronic site, the Directorate threatens to file a complaint.
This site reported that the brother-in-law in question would have received a visit from the elements of the National Security. According to the same source, the curious visitors of the brother-in-law would have prohibited the disclosure of the causes and circumstances of the victim’s death. Worse, the same allegations claim that the DGSN elements would also have asked the brother-in-law concerned to organize the funeral at the family home, in Sbata and not in Hay Moulay Rachid, in Casablanca where his sister lived.
All these statements are untruths, in the eyes of the DGSN. It flatly denies the account it considers to be completely fabricated by the site. Furious, it threatens to bring the matter before the competent courts, to clear its honor.
