Moroccan Plane Detected Over Senegalese Military Zones, Raising Espionage Concerns

A plane from Morocco flew over Senegalese military zones in Ziguinchor, a city in the south of the country, without authorization. Is this a spying operation?
The plane in question, coming from Morocco, was planning to fly over Guinea-Bissau to take "topographic surveys", according to L’Observateur. The four crew members of the plane are all Moroccan. But on the return journey, the pilots changed their trajectory. This is how they flew over strategic Senegalese military zones in Ziguinchor on April 1st. The radars of the Senegalese air surveillance did not take long to detect the presence of the Moroccans.
The same source indicates that the crew members took photos of several military bases. In the eyes of the Senegalese authorities, these facts are serious. They thus asked the crew to land on the nearest runway. For now, an investigation is underway to know the true motives of this action.
