Moroccan Passenger in Pierre Palmade Crash Faces Deportation Risk

A 33-year-old Moroccan in an irregular situation in France was arrested after the accident that occurred on February 10 and for which the comedian Pierre Palmade is accused of involuntary manslaughter. He risks being targeted by an obligation to leave French territory.
The arrest of Mohcine E.A., one of the presumed passengers of the comedian, took place a little before 6:30 am the day after Valentine’s Day in the apartment of Fatna*, a Moroccan woman, located in the center of Clichy (Hauts-de-Seine). The thirty-year-old had just spent the night at his long-time girlfriend’s place. "It’s a very strange feeling to be woken up by the police when you don’t know at all what it’s about," the young mother is surprised by Le Parisien. "The police left with Mohcine and I stayed at home with my daughter wondering what was happening."
Fatna will learn late in the day that her friend is one of the passengers in actor Pierre Palmade’s vehicle, accused of involuntary manslaughter for the accident that occurred on February 10 on the D 372 departmental road in Villiers-en-Bière (Seine-et-Marne). The accident toll is one dead (a pregnant woman lost her baby) and two seriously injured. After his hearing, Mohcine was placed in police custody. This man originally from Casablanca, who has been in an irregular situation in France for 10 years, could be indicted for failure to assist persons in danger and ordered to leave French territory.
