Moroccan Passenger Dies After Medical Emergency on Turkish Airlines Flight to Cairo

Victim of a malaise on board a Turkish Airlines plane, a Moroccan national died on Sunday, November 10 in a hospital in Egypt.
Hospitalized since October 31, the man had a serious health problem while returning to Morocco on a flight from Medina, according to a statement from the Moroccan Consulate in Cairo.
The Turkish Airlines aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing at Cairo International Airport to allow him to be hospitalized.
Remaining in intensive care and in a coma, the Moroccan was closely monitored and cared for by the Moroccan Consulate until his death on Sunday, November 10.
His remains are to be repatriated to Morocco via Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.
