A Moroccan party attacks Algerian television

The Mouvement Populaire (MP) party expressed its indignation following the broadcast by Algerian national television of a report denigrating the Moroccan heroes of the Green March, "which was an unprecedented liberation epic, having made it possible to liberate the colonized territory and restore the unity of the Moroccan people, in a peaceful and civilized manner".
This approach by Algeria "is dominated by a reaction imbued with resentment and hatred," denounced the party in a statement, describing this report as "repulsive in its malice and malevolence, and in violation of human and professional standards." The Mouvement Populaire (MP) condemns "this partisan hostility towards Moroccan citizens who have marked the history of their country with pride and honor through their voluntary participation in the completion of the territorial unity of their country."
For the Moroccan political formation, the treatment of this information by Algerian national television is a "crime against humanity and a deviation from the great human values that respect human dignity." This is why it has called on the competent international institutions to sanction this official media, "which continues to nurture hatred, distill poison and undermine the dignity of people," for this "serious misconduct."
"The Moroccan people as a whole, with its leaders and population, refrains from reacting to this veiled insolence in the guise of media coverage, by virtue of the values and authenticity of the Kingdom of Morocco, and its attachment to respect for the bonds of friendship and common history between the peoples of the two brotherly countries, a history nourished by the blood of brothers and the belief in good understanding and common destiny," affirmed the party, stressing that such behaviors "cannot in any way affect the resilience and unwavering determination of the Moroccan people to defend its sovereignty and the integrity of its territory."
