Moroccan Opposition Leader Nabila Mounib Aspires to Become First Female Prime Minister

Invited to the Hespress web show "Niqach fi siassa" (Debate in politics), Nabila Mounib, secretary general of the Unified Socialist Party (PSU), made a rather surprising statement. She believes she deserves the position of head of government.
"I have not seen very distinguished heads of government to not consider myself worthy of this position, but rather the opposite," said Nabila Mounib. The first woman elected to the head of a political party, the secretary general of the Unified Socialist Party (PSU) would like to become the first woman to the position of head of government in Morocco. She confided that "many have used her until they became known, and then began to speak of her in an unacceptable way."
On another note, Nabila Mounib stated that there is a "major problem in Morocco," a problem she describes as "religious overbidding." And, she holds the politicized Islamist currents responsible. "The Muslim Brotherhood movement, after failing to take power, tried to reach it through elections while using the triptych of benevolence, advocacy and politics. And today, they are making a landslide in all regions of the kingdom," she denounced.
