Moroccan National Killed in Libyan Terrorist Attack, Red Crescent Assists Burial

A Moroccan national died last week in a terrorist attack claimed by an armed group. The Libyan Red Crescent in Zintan had to intervene to facilitate the burial of the remains.
The funeral ceremony of the victim, whose body still bore traces of violence, was organized by the Libyan Red Crescent center, reports Alyaoum24, which specifies that the identity of the victim was revealed thanks to fingerprints.
In the absence of a Moroccan diplomatic representation in Libya and a local interlocutor, Moroccans are facing inhumane living conditions in a country plagued by conflicts and power struggles.
Dozens of Moroccans have been victims of terrorist attacks perpetrated by armed fighters in Libya. Some perished during the bombing of an immigrant accommodation center, while others drowned trying to reach the Italian coast.
