Moroccan Mother Seeks Missing Son After Hospital Denies Care for Bipolar Crisis

A Moroccan living abroad (MRE) has simultaneously issued a call for help and a missing person report. Her 57-year-old son suffering from bipolar disorder has disappeared after being refused at the Provincial Hospital of Béni Mellal.
A Moroccan national, on vacation in her hometown of El Ksiba, has issued a distress call following the disappearance of her son, a university professor in Paris, who had a bipolar crisis.
According to the French Consulate in Morocco, the man must first be hospitalized before he can be transferred to France. But the Béni Mellal hospital simply refused him access.
Once he returned to El Ksiba, the man left the home for an unknown destination. The mother, who points the finger at the Ministry of Health and the officials of the Béni Mellal hospital, explains that her son remains untraceable.
