Moroccan Military Denies Reports of Mass Officer Desertion

The Royal Armed Forces have provided a formal denial regarding the defection of Moroccan officers. This information, which has been widely reported by Algerian media, proves to be false.
It all started with information published by the Algerian daily Al Khabar, about a probable "desertion of 138 officers from a military barracks in Rabat before taking to the high seas in makeshift boats towards Europe." Other Algerian media have taken up this information. Except that these are false information that have prompted the Royal Armed Forces to take the floor.
"The promotion of this false information shows the extent of the despair and confusion of the enemies of Morocco after their inability to harm the Kingdom by various means," react the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) on their official account on X (ex-Twitter). According to the FAR, it "seems that the authors of the publication of this false and unfounded information aim to undermine the morale of Moroccan soldiers."
And to add: "But the Royal Armed Forces will remain resilient in the face of all the ignoble attempts that will not withstand the cohesion of the army’s personnel and their loyalty to their Supreme Commander," King Mohammed VI.
