Moroccan Midfielder Harit Shines as Marseille Climbs to 2nd in Ligue 1

After a few setbacks, Amine Harit seems to have regained his footing with Olympique Marseille. Thanks to his performance last Sunday against Montpellier, he was applauded by his coach Jorge Sampaoli and the French press.
Little by little, Amine Harit is regaining his footing and reviving the question of his departure or not from OM. Elected man of the match, the Moroccan player stood out on Sunday with 88 balls touched, 86% of successful passes and an assist, contributing to the victory of the Phocaean club over Montpellier. Thanks to this victory, OM is in 2nd place in the Ligue 1 standings.
His performance led, on Monday, to the praise of the French press towards him. "Assist provider during OM’s victory over Montpellier on Sunday (2-0), Amine Harit delivered an excellent performance. A real rebirth, after his already very substantial performance in Saint-Étienne (4-2). A return to form that validates Jorge Sampaoli’s decision to relaunch him after a long winter slump," writes the local media lephoceen.fr.
His coach Jorge Sampaoli dwelled at length on the player’s performances. "No, I’m not surprised by Harit’s level. We were hoping for that. When he started with us, he was a player who often got himself in trouble in the game. He has evolved footballistically. He is a player who weighs in the imbalance and in the one-on-one. He has become a very important player for us and he will be in every game of the final sprint," said the Argentine technician to the press.
